Passive Temperature Control

Manual shading systems reduce energy costs by filtering sunlight and decreasing heat entry into the home. When a window treatment is closed, it passively regulates temperature as it blocks the sun. Solar shades are a popular energy-efficient product, filtering from 85-99% of light when closed. Silhouette shades filter 87% of light when open and 99% of light when closed.
